Okay so I just finished this I think yesterday, I made another one kind of like it but I lost the straps so I had to mourn before I was able to make another one  Embarrassed

FUNNY STORY ok a few years ago my mom made me a duvet cover out of polka dot fabric looking just like this and while I was working on this I put it down on my bed and went to pick up the phone. When I came back I couldn't find the shirt and spent 20 minutes looking for it before I realized it had camoflauged itself onto my bed hehe

no more blabbing:

And yes I decided to post this despite the fact that I look dumb in the pics haha

BACK!

a slighty more seeable pic!

*** So for everyone who wants a tutorial sorry it is taking me forever, I got extremely busy but I will try to get one as soon as I have the time Sad

That came out well! I really like the shape of the shirt and the polka dot fabric. I think people may be asking you for a tute soon.

Oh, and it's absolutely fine to begin a post with a little story before unveiling the creation.  Smiley

you flatter me hehe. I totally used a pattern, well BASED off a pattern but because those stupid things like to lie about what size and shape they are it had to be altered quite a bit! It was New Look 6490 sorry I forgot to mention it!!! So here is a question... If you start out with a pattern and then change it can you post a tute without being met with the scorn of the craftster community?!?! If I won't be chased out with pitchforks I will make one of my version!!!

That's so cute and I love the fact that you lost it in your duvet cover! That's something that would definitely happen to me. haha

That is so cute! I love how it fits.  I am partial to polka-dots, so it wins big points with me.

I hope you wouldn't incur the wrath of the community for saying how you modified a pattern--I modify those things all the time!  Cheesy

But the shirt is cute. And don't feel bad about the story at all-- I thought it was funny. (Of course, that's exactly the sort of thing I would do...  Roll Eyes )
