You could store shelves on them

I bought a set of 1981 Encyclopedia Britannica. I'm getting my husband to make the shelves - I think two of them... and then I'm going to use the pages to wallpaper the room - my office/library is trashed beyond words. We'll be excavating over the weekend so he can paint (he said he'd paint if I get the stuff moved so I'm having a friend come to help with that part.) After he's done painting, I got a roll of the contracters brown paper and a vat of wallpaper glue to put as a base layer (it was the kids room for a while and they got into my sharpie stash - much as I love KILZ, it didn't workd that well over sharpie) so I figured the brown paper under is the easiest way to cover the mess. Then I'm planning on taking the encylcopedia pages one at a time to cover the one wall - he's painting rather than me because he get's more paint on the walls than himself whereas I get more paint on myself.....
Here's to a couple days of hard work....

Thanks for sharing the tute! Now, I wonder if my mom still has her stash of old Readers Digest Condensed Books...if not, thrift stores, yard sales and library sales it will be!

Wait...I just remembered...I have a collection of books in the back hall that just haven't made it to the library to be donated...this could be a possibility!
