Hey guys! I did this shirt a while ago for a dance but I thought I'd share it with you!

TUTORIAL INCLUDED!

IDIOT INSTRUCTIONS! (YAY)
To make this shirt you will need:
1. An old man tank top. It has to be made of a stretchy fabric. Mine is made of T-shirt material.
2. Scissors (cutting is fun)
3. Needle and Thread (or sewing machine)..There's hardly any sew whatsoever so mine was handsewn.
Before you start I'll encode my very extravagant (not) paint drawing.
Broken line means cut. Red line means sew.
Step 1: Basically just put the shirt down flat. Make sure it is going to be big enough.
Step 2: Put the shirt face down. (Notice the lack of happy face.) Cut straight down the middle of the shirt.
Step 3: The hardest step. (at least to explain.) Ok so you've cut down the back of the shirt and now it looks a square shaped thing. Lay it out flat. On with the Cutting!
First place you are going to cut is on either side of the slab of materiel. Cut a thin strip from the bottom all the way up to the top on either side. Put the pieces aside.
Next Cut. Cut on either side of the slab of materiel again except this time it will be much thicker. Before you cut this piece, make sure the middle piece will be wide enough when you put it on so that it covers the front of you.
Tricky cut. Cut across the top of the material so the width of the strip is even. And then cut top strip off at the top of the arm holes.
Last Cut. Cut cross the top of the slab that will make the front of the shirt. Hold it up to you to see how low you want it to go.
Step 4: Lay everything out. You should have:
One front piece. (with the happy face)
Two long thick strips
Two long thin strips
Two short thinner strips
Step 5: SEWING!
Sew the two thin short trips to the top like straps. They will be tied around your neck.
Sew the thick ones in the middle.
Sew the thin long ones on the bottom.
Step 6: Your done!
