so, i was browsing the fredflare website.
because i think a lot of their stuff is really neat.
but then i saw these.

i know i have a million of those plastic bead things and different plate shapes.
they're selling these for fourteen dollars!
can you say, "DUH."

so i'm probably going to make a bunch with different colors and such.
and i think you should too. because it's quick&cheap&painless.
unless you burn yourself on the iron.

just a thought.

call me stupid here (hey I went to a real low budget school) but how do you get them shaped, do you just glue them together?

there are little plastic board that have little spikes on them.
they have different shapes like hearts, and stars, and squares.
and then you painstakingly put the little beads on the pegs, and iron.
then they stay together.

they are made by fellow crafters, though, not by the fred flare company... fred flare is just promoting the indie crafters that made them as one of their "next big things."

Actually there is a thread ongoing about making video game figures out of these.

I think perhapy I will make one of those necklaces, I never thought about making something wearable out of them, they always seem too largeish.
