Say hello to my kitchy apartment decorations. I wanted to hang them above my bed but they just look so cute with my books up there I couldn't move them! I built a frame out of gold-painted popsicle sticks (108 were used, plenty more were maimed and glued to make this.) The lightning bolts on the side are made of chenille stems, and the the flowers are wagonwheel pasta painted pink. The skulls hand painted fabric using my favorite metallic fabric acryllic paint. And I added my star-shaped jewels because that's just my style. Thanks a bunch for looking!

I like the use of the pasta as flowers. I would never have though of doing that and they look great painted pink.

That is so cute! And it's really creative, too. I ought to try making something similar for my room...

LOOKING FOR A PERSONAL SWAP: I'm hoping for dinosaur-themed Xmas crackers, or other dinosaur Xmas items. I can make a Jayne Cobb hat, or many other things!
