That panta is adorable.  I've made one, but I definately could not crank them out, and I've been meaning to make a skinnier one... I have knitter's envy.  And knitter's ADD and I knit so slow.

ehhh, you just need a few thousand hours' practice! Cheesy  I made it in (I think) less than three hours on Sunday while I was reading for work.

Put it on your wishlist and I'll make you a skinnier one in pale (girly, ballet) pink if you like!

I recieved today from highschoolcrafter. Check it out:

While I am very happy to be wearing this adorable shirt, that really is just a cellphone in my pocket.

And now for a closeup:

Aren't you charmed?

I received a lovely swap package filled with Tare Panda goodies from DragonsMuse Cheesy

All the goodies - a handpainted tote bag, 5 buttons (2 magnets, 2 pins, and 1 clip), and a microscope slide necklace:

Close up of smaller goodies:

Everything is adorable!  The tote bag will be my new book bag, I might send a couple of buttons to my sister who loves Tare Panda stuff as well, and the microscope slide necklace is mine, mine, mine Wink

Thanks DragonsMuse  Kiss

holy, good mail day! i received from BOTH Melesse and Homerof2!

first, a very lovely knitting needle roll to hold the tools for my NEWLY-LEARNED skill of KNITTING! (as a die-hard crocheter, i have been waiting for YEARS for another left-hander to teach me knitting. as it turns out, my mom knits the european way, which is essentially left-handed. oh.  Undecided)

anyway, here it is from the darling Homerof2:

she even threw in those needles, what a sweetie. i love the choice of colours and the fabric on the outside is really pretty. it actually compliments my crochet hook roll from wish list swap 7! http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77174.msg775812#msg775812

then there are my super-cool new labels! you know, for my BRAND-NAME products (ie. swap stuff  Cheesy). check out the PILE of individually-cut-and-heat-sealed-so-they-don't-fray labels Melesse sent me:

they are all so cute, with neat little sewing-themed images. i absolutely LOVE this little running spool of thread guy:
how adorable is that?!

Melesse also sent me a cool postcard with a picture of the canadian flight museum that she took. i really like the lighting and the old canada goose airline symbol. very cool.

for a clammy-hot friday afternoon, that was a great haul! great big thank-you to my fellow canucks Melesse & Homerof2!!!
