I started with a baseball cap and then dressed it up with flame material.

The required elements I used were:
pompoms- the hat band
macaroni- to further decorate the hat band
chenille stems- to stiffen the brim



After cutting off the bill, covering it in flame material, and adding a brim that was stiffened with pipe cleaners I took it from okay to wow by adding a black pompom hat band- the space between the band was made better with the addition macaroni spray painted cheap cheddar cheese orange
