So I finally got my own crafting area! (It used to be our dining room, but we never used it so...) On to the pics!

Heres the other side:

Heres my desk where the magic happens:

My crystal chandelier over my desk (it just holds a candle):

Close up of my fabric storage (see my awesome vintage silk?) and my magazine rack:

My book case with bead organization:

So what do you think? I LOVE it!!

Haha. That's so happy. We just did the same thing! Last weekend we decided we couldn't afford a 2 bedroom but that I definately needed a craft space so I wouldn't spread it all over the whole apartment. So I took over the dining room, which we also don't use. Doesn't it feel AWESOME to have your own craft space? I need more storage, though. I love your fabric storage thing. That's a gerat idea.

Whee! It is awesome to have a craft space all my own! Thanks! Oh, the fabric storage is a shoe bag thats supposed to hang on a closet rod. I just hung it from a plant hook. I got the bag at walmart for like $5. Congrats on your new space too!!

That's awesome, nice and organized ^.^
I wish I had a space that big so my crafty goodness wouldn't take over my room and stray throughout the house Tongue

Organization, doesn't it feel great!  Congratulations.  It looks like each and every aspect of your craftniess has its own little cubby now. Smiley   I've done the same thing recently.  One of our spare rooms has become a studio.  I finally ordered this craft shelf organizer and it was on my doorstep when I came home from work last night.  Of course, like any good crafty girl, I organized all my beads into it before I went to bed.  EVERYTHING is color coordinated and at my fingertips now.  I love it because everything is not in little baggies, so it doesn't take away from the finish/shape/color of the beads.

The organizer was a bit of a pain to put together, but once I figured out what the problem was, it was an easy fix.  Now the next step....  painting.  I want to do something really cool, something crafty, something inspiring.   But here I sit, amongst the white walls because I'm stuck as to what to do.  lol

Enjoy your new space!

Thanks guys! I've been using the heck out of my space! And of course its still not as organized as I would like and stuff still finds its way to the other rooms of the house...

Oh, and I do love Harry Potter! Read all the books, seen all the movies...
