Well here is the supplies I started with

And may I introduce you to Madam Kitty   Smiley

Madam Kitty's body is foam sheet - with paper accents, a rubber stamped face and silver marker accents
pipe cleaners were used to join her legs and for accents
plastic lacing was used for her whiskers
And the pom pom's with the help of some walnut stain made buttons.
Brads were used to join her arms.
Her arms and legs are both pose able.
She was so much fun to make that she already has a sister - Moira the mermaid  Grin

Beautiful! I love how you nonchalantly pass off your artistic brilliance: "pom pom's with the help of some walnut stain". Her face is absolutely gorgeous, too. I'd love to see Moira.

I love it! It reminds me of a vintage Halloween decoration.

Super idea, and a super result - but can we see Miss Moira Mermaid pleeeeeease!  Love mermaids - I designed a mermaid costume for a wheelchair-bound friend once so she could go to a fancy dress party - sorry don't have a photo to post.
