Harry Potter Monster Book of monsters

I've already posted this a few places (ie, craftgrrl and hp_costuming) but thought since I'd just joined here, i might as well make some posts so I can join the next Harry Potter swap

I started him last year for my Harry Pottery midnight release party, along with a Sorting Hat, wands, House pennants, and God knows how much food and candy. Alas, I did not finish him in time, so he has been sitting around for about the past year in pieces! I finally finished him a few weeks ago and he is the best thing ever.


His name is Alfred P. Monster and he is pleased to make your aquaintance.


He enjoys long walks on the beach, eating small mammals, and Goethe.


He dislikes oranges, photojournalism, and Pete Wentz.


One day he hopes to rule the world. Or at least a small suburb outside of Seattle.


But until that day comes he shall just take a nap.


And as a bonus...here he was missing two of his teeth :\ I had to perform emergency dental work on him. It was a sketchy few minutes, believe you me.

I had a bit of interest in a tutorial on him, and since i was planning on making again anyways (in soft huggable form) I'll try to do a walkthrough with pictures soon! Hope everyone enoyed him! I'm making another post in the housewares forum with my House mugs (of which i have two so far, so check those out if you'd like!)

Thats brilliant! I'm not ashamed to admit I am a huge Harry Potter fan I would love to give that a go once I've finished moving house (tends to stop the crafting process... )

That is fricking amazing! I stalk the Japanese made ones on eBay because I <3 it so much, but your version is so much more awesome! It's way more true to the movie one.
