This was first first craft fair. It was a blast!
I don't like that you can see light through the table covering. My husband says no one would notice, but it bugs me, I think I will line them.

Hi again  Wink this is my 2nd stall, which was not at a craft show - but at an event called "Burlesque, Bands & Beer" It was a pretty small local event on a sunday arvo, mostly men! I only made $50 from 7 items.... Im not dissapointed as I expected nothing - being it a free stall space, getting a ride there and a lazy sunday gig which I personally could not probably be bothered to go to! Heres the pics, i think my setting up is getting better:

I have another Polka dot vintage market coming up in two weeks. Hope it goes as good as the last polka dot did, it was so much fun and a whole weekend! Will post pics :-)

I've been lurking around Craftster for...5 years? Something like that. Anyway, I haven't posted much in a very long time, so I'm sorry if someone has already answered this question and I missed it.

People seem to universally suggest covering tables at craft fairs, but what do most of you use? Some booths I've seen on the forum look like they're just covered with cloth. Is that mostly what folks use? Or is there some special way to create a table skirt I should read up on?

Thanks so much!

I know this is a super late reply but... I usually just use fabric. It might depend on what look you're going for though and what kind of fabric you're using and the width of it!

If you want to make something fitted you can go about it sort of the way you'd make a gusseted bag. http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=2684.0  Although obviously your dimensions will be very different. Also, you might want to put a flap in on the side that faces you!
