I love the color stripes! Very pretty and very festive for your birthday.
thanks i really like it. i thought the stripes would make it look different, its not all 1 solid color! and i like how they dont go straight across. it looks neat.

heres my 10" progress pic. im hopin to have it done by my bday. thats the 29th. i was first thinkin school startin which is the 21st, but i dont think thats happenin. what yall think? Huh

oo pretty.

There's not a whole lot to do left. So you should definatley finnish it by then!!! GIAO! GIAO! lol, sorry, in my kung fu school that basically mean "Go!" or "step on the gass"
yeah im almost done. pretty much waiting til the weekend to finish it. im ready to change colors right now and that usually slows me down. im probably be knitting it if it wasnt for the new color problem. im just lazy. Smiley

im thinkin of makin a purple one next.. like a deep pretty purple. im not sure though. ive got other stuff to make.

I bet if you used a darning needle to thread some ribbon through the lacework, that cami would be even more amazing.

wow that would be a great idea!! im thinking of making a purple one next, maybe ill do that. thanks for the idea!

Ok, I finished!  Finally!  It seemed like it took forever, but it actually didn't.  It's not quite as long as I'd like it and I still have to make a few adjustments, etc, but I'm calling it done.

The purple is actually warmer, more of a burgandyish purple than in the pic.

I just started yesterday and reading through this thread somehow has me totally intimidated, but I'll still give it a go.

I hope that seam thing works itself out okay...  Undecided

I used 5.5 balls of Jaeger Albany and #5 needles.  I did a 3 stitch I-cord for the straps and tried it on to figure out placement of the straps.

How cute is that?! Great job, skillj!
I just frogged the cami I started out of Brown Sheep sportweight, and found a a pretty dark brown baby yarn that'll be much softer against the skin.
In addition to wearing it now while the weather's warm I'm going to be wearing my Razor cami as a layer in the winter.

[As if I need an excuse to make this in another couple of colours!  Wink ]

Ironically enough, I started this knitalong and then never finished my own version of this. Oops. BUT! I'm going to try and pick it up again as one last project before college! I've become a better knitter overall, so it shouldn't be as hard as it was at the beginning of this summer. If I can actually start it, I shall post random progress pictures!!
