i didn't even think to post my question here (let's ignore the fact i had no clue this KAL existed)

i have 4 balls apricot and 1 ball light tan Patons Grace (100% mercenized cotton) and i was wondering if anyone would recommend using it for this project. FYI: it's 136 yards per ball (which brings me to 544 yds total of apricot) and it says it gets 24st on size 6 needles but i havn't tried it yet so i couldn't say for sure. i'm afraid to start and be severely dissapointed. Sad

if no - could you recommend another project? this yarn is so beautiful it's crying out for my attention. my stash totally needs busting.

I think that it would probably work for this pattern, but I know that many people have used Grace as a sub for Orangina.  You might want to look into that pattern also!

hi, everyone.

i started the razor cami a few weeks ago, and am having major issues with the lace pattern.  basically, the YOs are veering drastically to the right.  whatever i'm doing wrong i'm doing wrong consistently, but that doesn't really make me feel any better.  any thoughts on what might be going on here?

you can find another, bigger picture here.

any chance you have the wrong number of stitches on the needles?

nope.  i've triple-checked.  i have 24 more than the pattern asks for.  i even have stitch markers every so often so that i can check that i have multiples of 12 in between them for the pattern.

What I was wondering, was that if you were knitting two together, or slip slip knitting.

Because you have to do the "slip stitch, knit two together, pass the slipped stitch over the two" So that they counter balance.

Sorry if I seem annoying, I just wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about -,-

you're not annoying at all!  it my knitting on this thing that's annoying.

i'm almost positive that i've been k2tog, but...i'm totally going to go home and go through the pattern stitch by stitch.  hopefully, slowing down will help.  i'll definitely post if i figure out what's wrong.

thanks for all of the help!

Hi all, I just started this last week. Here's my progress shots. I'm using acrylic yarn that my mom bought from Big Lots. I'm loving it so far.  Smiley
