i am working on this right now! i have about 6 inches done so far.  this is my first lace project, so the pattern is a little funny looking at the beginning.  it's moving along though.  i am using some lion brand microspun that i got on clearance. i think that i will do something different for the straps....i don't really like how they look in that pic.  maybe i-cords or something...any ideas?

I was thinking maybe ribbon for my straps, actually. With a little thinking I'm sure I could pull it off...

I ordered yarn this week and I'm just waiting for it to get here!  I'm using Elann Collection Esprit in peacock green.  The yarn is 98.3% cotton and 1.7% elastic.  So it could be perfect or it could be a train wreck.  We'll see!

While I'm not using the same yarn, I'm using a yarn with the exact same proportions of cotton and elastic, so I hope it turns out okay, too!

I'm definitely in!  I came to this board to start this KAL if it hadn't already been started.  I think this will be a really fun knit.  I still need to decide on and order yarn.  Knitchick2, I think peacock green will be great!  I might do green myself.  What colors have other people chosen?

I'm in. I'm using Patons Brilliant in Blue Shimmer (sky blue).
It is 69% Acrylic, 19% Nylon, 12% Polyester. Stretchy and shimmery,
I hope it works out o.O ...

I guess I knit a little tightly so I casted on 204 stitches for the ribbing,
but probably will decrease 12 stitches before beginning the pattern stitch.

rjbuthead, I was thinking about using Microspun, and considered i-cords...
please let me know how it works out =)!

I'm only about an inch into the ribbing due to paper-writing.

This is next on my list after Branching out.

See...This was next on my list. Then I joined the Amazing Lace, and decided to work on Branching Out, because that was the only thing I could think of at the time that was Lacy. Because, I, like an idiot, totally blanked and forgot that this one would probably count. Oi.

So this is up after that.

I'm in, however I won't be starting this for at least a week.  I want to rip and re-knit the bodice of Lelah, and finish my clap.
