Does anyone know where I can get supplies for crewel embroidery in the Vancouver area?  Michael's doesn't have anything.

What specifically are you looking for? The thread? needles? You need silk floss for that right? Or no-? refresh my memory here for me.  Cheesy

I'm looking for crewel wool thread, crewel or chenille needles, and linen twill.  Very elusive.

I did see some crewel wool at Knit & Stitch in West Van a couple months ago. (http://www.knit-n-stitch.com) It was on the same wall as the DMC thread and beads... the lady there told me that she'd uncovered it in the back room, so I have no idea how old it was or if they're planning on restocking.

For anyone else who may be looking for crewel supplies in the area, I usually order them from woolandhoop.com now.
