Ok...I claim lenray for some colourful roving, this is my second wish and I'm in Ontario Canada!

Supplies:

- Unusual Toys for You to Knit and Enjoy booklet by Jess Hutchison - I'm hoping I haven't missed the boat on this one.
- PMC - OMG is this stuff so cool or what  (Instructions would be really useful too)
- needle felting tools - what's a girl with tons of roving to do?
- Japanese crafting books or mags - even not in english is ok

Crafted stuph:

- Cool baby things, I'm 5 months pregnant and we got rid of EVERYTHING after the last kid.  I'd love some funky receiving blankets, decorated onsies or sleepers, etc - stenciled, embroidered, appliques, whatever - bright colours or black/white are my favs here.  We don't use a crib or change table, so wouldn't have a use for accessories for those. Thanks to picking this Homerof2...but babies make a lot of mess Wink
- amigurumi creatures - with intro to amigurumi technique would be super-fab!
- tablecloth with cool designs - tattoo, celtic, skullies, Frida, wicca
- ANYTHING with skullies
- art dolls- creepy or fantasy or both!

I'm a 33 yo SAHM with 3 kids (+1) living in Acton, Ontario trying to fit my art-making in between dinners, naps and playdates....my favorite colours are black, red, purple, cobalt.  I really dislike pastels.  I adore skulls, greenmen, cool stripey-legged dolls, medieval stuph, and general goth-y goodness.  I love ephemera, embellishing, and anything old and crusty....yum.

I'll claim bhean for needle felting tools. This is my first claim. I'm in washington state.

Here's my wishes...

yarn or anything yarn related- I knit and crochet. I always have a million projects going at once so I'm always in meed of more stitch markers and such.

corset t- I love all these reconned t-shirts that have corset style ribbon lacing. So cool.

earring screen or other earring organizer. I have gotten a ton of earrings in swaps and have nowhere to store them. I don't want to loose any. I've seem cool earring holders made with screen. Something like that would be perfect. It would be even more perfect if it could be hung on a wall because my bathroom has no counter at all.

something cavlin and hobbes- my sweetie loves calvin and hobbes. He has a birthday coming up and I'd love a crafty thing of some sort with calvin and hobbes on it for him. I'm still trying to think of what. A t shirt would be really cool, but I'll try to think of smaller/easier to make things too. Mostly I'm just too much of a chicken to try stenciling myself. Smiley

diaper bag- I have a friend who is expecting an I'd love to give her a super fun, unique , or funky diaper bag. something similar to this one would be amazing.
http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=16742400.0

car organizer- I'm a slob. I'm always loosing my cd's sunglasses etc. A crafty car organizer would be so cool. That or a funky steering wheel cover or other car accessories. I drive an ancient reddish maroon Subaru station wagon. She has lots of character, and I think she needs some fun accessories.

sock monkey- I dig sock monkeys but keep getting to busy to make one for myself. An argyle monkey would be extra cool.

hoodie- I love all the altered hoodies done in swaps. I've missed everyone of them though.

bath stuffs- Homemade bath bombs or cools soaps would rock my world.

Anything, but preferably a crafty picture, wall hanging, cross stitch, embroidery, etc that says, "A creative mess is better than tidy idleness" I saw this on an item for some swap, I think. I love the quote. It's my new mantra. Makes me feel ok about painting, sewing, and knitting rather than doing my dishes.

A suprise- I'm open to someone stalking my posts, and coming up with a complete and total suprise item for me.

I live in Seattle.  I'm 25. I work in a hospital and I'm very slowly working on a nursing degree. I have chin length hair dyed a ridiculous shade of bright red. I love to read, and knit. I dabble in other crafty areas too, jewelry making, spinning, sewing, polymer clay, but knitting is my main craft. I'm a vegetarian.

I claim craftykate for an earring organizer

This is my first claim, I am in OHio

My wishes:

A glass slide pendant kit, excluding the soldering gun (but, if possible, advice on what sort of gun I should buy I would need instructions / supplies otherwise.

Some really nice blank book(s).  Hand bound is good, unique papers and assortments of page papers even better.  The more pages the better

Felt beads in earth tone colors or deep colors,  no neon or really bright colors

Tshirt with silk screen or embroidery of a cat- can give a pic of mine- would be cool!

A bag like one of these- http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=93754.0
I dont really like neon colors or kitschy fabrics, but just ask me about it!

Home made soaps in fruity or vanilla flavors, some with a bit of scrub in them!

A cute bubble skirt,  no big patterned fabrics on this one!

I love this!  http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=77766.0

My wists http://www.wists.com/mpicky these arent set in stone, just ideas for me and you!

I am a 33 year old accountant form Ohio, I am new to Crafster.  My specialty is polymer clay and jewelry, other than that, I am craft dumb.  I love to learn and love to support other peoples crafting.  I love deep colors, I have an Asian theme in my living room, I love cats, I dont have many knickknacks, and dont really want any, I have a small place.  I like history, reading, green is my favorite color.  I dont really like the country theme of things.

i claim mpicky for some soap and possibly a surprise!  Grin

Im in Portland, Oregon, USA.

Sewing:

1. I really like the Amy Butler nappy bag, especially made with the fabric pictured on the pattern.  Its perfect!  (I dont have a baby, but I do like to carry a lot of crap!)
2. A circle skirt or a similarly non-tight knee-ish length skirt.  PM me for size/colors.  There is at least one in my wists I need something to wear this summer, since I hate to wear shorts!
3. A belt.  Id like something that can go with lots of different colors (maybe a neutral-y blue or green and white?) and I wear my jeans low on my hips, so PM me for measurements!
4. Something for me to carry my lunch in.  Right now I just use paper sacks, which makes me feel very wasteful, and I hate that theyre so noisy and crinkly (I cant sneakily eat snacks!).  PM me for specific size/style.
5. Pajama pants.
6. Some sort of summery shirt/tank top.  There are a few in my wists that I would love!  Somewhat relatedly, a cute cardigan (could be reconned, embroidered, whatever) to wear when it gets chilly!

Knit/crochet:

1. Amigurumi animal modeled after one of my pets (your pick of cats, dog, or chickens -- i already have a karl amigurumi!!)
2. A long, thin-ish cable-knit scarf.

Paper crafts:

1. Handmade stationery or notecards with envelopes.
thanks, devilninny!!
2. Paper stars for me to hang in my room like these ones: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=83862.0;topicseen
3. Address labels (with my real name, so I can use them for things other than craftster) thanks, hertrigger!!

A DIY kit for any of the following:

1. screen-printing
2. kanzashi flowers
3. crochet I want to learn this just so I can make amigurumi hamsters!
4. pmc (I have no idea how this works, but I would love to learn!)
or surprise me with a cool DIY craft kit! I love learning how to make new things!

Other:

1. I love this crane necklace: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=72997.msg686245;topicseen
2. Teeny little super guy glass: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=86122.0
3. A stenciled/silkscreened shirt.  Things Ive been into lately: birds, cherry blossoms, cats, trees, nature themes, foxes, chickens.  PM me if you need more ideas/sizes.
4. Some yummy soap. thanks, batgirl!
5. Anything that has to do with any of my pets pictures available upon request Smiley
6.  Earrings!  I love me some dangly earrings!
7. A prettified travel coffee mug for me to take to work in the mornings.  My roommate borrowed my old one a few months ago, but it was pretty ugly anyway.  Dishwasher safe please Smiley
8. A fabric cover with a snap for my day planner.  It would need to be sort of sturdy and have a pocket for me to slip the back cover of the planner into so it would fit.  PM me for details on this one, but I would love you forever if you could make this for me!
9. Anything from my wists or based on my wists!
10. A suprise!

Supplies:

1. I have a beautiful old Singer sewing machine, but Im absolutely terrified of it.  It seems like every time I use it, I manage to mess up the tension or get a big wad of thread stuck coming up from the bobbin.  Animegirlie sent me the manual (thank you!!), but anything to help me overcome my fears and also learn how to deal with common sewing machine problems instead of throwing up my hands in defeat would be wonderful!

2. Anything to help me organize all of my craft junk.  This could be anything from a pretty jar to hold pencils/rulers/scissors to a decoupaged box to a nice big basket/tote for works in progress.  Any organization would seriously help me!

3. Colorful roving for needle felting and felted beads!

4. Fabric!  I like Amy Butler style prints, small cute flowers/plants, fruits and veggies, cute animals... I could go on and on Smiley  Some felt would be nice too.

About me: I'm a 19 year old working college student in Portland, Oregon.  Im studying to become a social worker.  Right now I do vocational support for adults with developmental disabilities.  I love nature and animals; I have 3 cats, a dog, a hamster, two baby chickens, and some fish.  I don't like super flashy things (neon, huge hawaiian flowers, etc) and my favorite colors are green, red, and blue.  I love vintage stuff -- some of my favorite fabrics are 30s style prints.  I also like more modern patterns, like bold stripes and polka dots and there is a special place in my heart for super-cutesy cat prints.

Thank you to everyone who has already sent me wonderful handcrafted items in the mail, and thank YOU for reading my list! Smiley

Wist lists confuse me - for instance, catpants, I was just looking through your list seeing if I could make anything from it (and while doing that snacker claimed you) but in two places, the pictures didn't match the descriptions.  One was Snow White and Friends - the picture was of a deer and the other was Springy Skirt - the picture was a book.  Anyone explain why this happens?

I think it's a bug in the wists programming-- sometimes, if you add something from a page with lots of photos, it picks up the wrong one. Try clicking through to the linked-to page and see if you can find the right picture. Works sometimes for me!

there is also a problem with people adding crafts that are on the "recent posts with pictures" page.  if you list something there and new picture is posted the next day, your wists will show the new picture and not what you originally posted.  make sense?  im not great at explaining these things...

you have to go to the actual thread and add the item from there!    Wink
