For my friend Nicole's birthday a week ago I made this red monster fellow out of red jersey with 3 brown buttons. All hand-sewn.

I think she should name him Bernard.

And my army sock man Walter, made with tutorials from Stupid Sock creatures (who else adores that book?)

It's my first time posting my own stuff, so please comment, I'm insecure!

I'm going to have to find that book!!!

I love hand-made monsters! They are all so different. Every person that makes one, adds their own touch and they all come out different! I love it! I really want to just grab some fabric and start sewing!

And Bernard fits well, I think.

I think walter is awesome!  But, poor fellow - no arms!  Perhaps he has special monster skills that supply him with ghostly arms when he is grabbing ankles from underneath the bed...  either way he is so cute, I love the lips and mismatched eyes!

Thanks guys!

Walter's right eye is actually beginning to fall off though, my cat keeps biting it when I'm not watching.
