This is probably my first modification that I actually did right XD  most all my other ones don't fit or aren't fit for public viewing, I'm rather proud of it  :3

But I digress, it all started when I got a job and they required us to wear white t-shirts underneath our polos... so I went out and bought a bunch.

They then decided to change their minds and make us wear black.

So now I'm stuck with a bunch of poorly fitted, white t-shirts.  ew.

Look at that! Not only do I look terrible, I have no arm.  This is what work does to you, folks.  It steals your arms and sells them on ebay.  bastards.

But fear no more!  With the help of my scissors, sewing machine, and some nifty fabric this shirt is now properly rockin' =D

Hurray! My arms are back =DDDD

I love this hood so much ;~~~~; <3333

EDIT  Sorry this took so long to get up.  I wanted to scan the book I got the tutorial from, but my friend is borrowing it and won't be able to give it back for a little while.  So here's a very rough pattern that I drew up in Paint.  I hope it helps ^^;;

I'm hoping to get the better version scanned and upped soon, if you get stuck with this one lemme know and I can try and help the best I can :3

 That is so adorable! However did you manage to make that hood look so nice?

I would go out and buy crappy ill-fitting t-shirts to make this on purpose!! Adorable--and fits your cute figure WAY better--the hood is nice and full--good job!! Hope they change their minds about the black T's--ha ha--just to see what you would do with them!

Keep on reconning!

Sheer luck!  I was so nervous it wouldn't work out the first time and then I'd have to use up more of that pretty fabric.  I highly suggest drawing out the pattern in chalk first, I think that's what helped me to not botch it up ^^

If you make the curve of it more squarey that might help a bit.  Good luck! :333

OMG Those arm-stealing bastards! Wankers, wankers! Tongue

Love how it turned out. The hood absolutely rocks. I would love you forever if you provided a tute, or even just a rough drawing of what shape the hood was before it was sewn. I can never make hoods turn out that well.

To the people asking about a tutorial for the hood, I'm going to try and get a little pattern picture up within the next day or so :3

That is amazing. I'm very picky with my tops, but I just love this. And I want to steal your hair for myself. Your hair rocks. And so does your top.

Not sure which book the OP got the pattern from, but Generation T: 108 Ways to Transform a T-Shirt has a tutorial for a hooded tank.
