Since KeenKitty posted hers (and isn't that Buttercup terrific?), here's the ones I did for the perler bead swap.  I didn't make so many video game characters, but I did make a box that turned out surprisingly well :

The challenge for me in the swap was making the bead items into something:  Here's my skeleton (copied from directions on the perler bead website). He's glow-in-the-dark and has poseable arms and legs:

And here I made a patch out of a turtle:

And the whole assortment:

You can make little stands for your flat projects.  Those are easy to make too.

Thanks Gestalta_Sara, it's just that my mind goes straight to using a needle and thread.  It's glue that intimidates me.

Holy cow.
My aunt just gave me a huge bag of the beads. Now I know what to do with them! Those are just... adorable. And amazing.

Hey all!  I know I may be a bit late joining in on the fun, but I just stumbled on this thread two weeks ago and it started my obsession with all things perler!

Here's what I've made so far:

The Ice Climbers, the ubiquitous Bob-omb, Bubble Bobble, Moogle, Starfi, Kirby, Hamtaro, and Tanooki Mario!

When I was hunting around my local craft stores to find supplies, they only had the huge buckets of assorted beads.  I knew that everyone on this thread recommended not getting the assortment and get the individual packets instead, but I was too impatient to wait to order individual color packets online; I wanted to start projects NOW.  So I was like, "hey, I have a high threshhold for mundane tasks, I can *totally* sort through this bucket of 6000 beads."  Um yeah, I didn't feel that way by the time I got to the bottom of the bucket, hours and hours later.  So after that, I decided that it was best for my sanity (and strained neck) to order individual colors.  You guys were right, it's SO worth it.  Cheesy
