Very simple 5 oval shaped petal blossoms, in 4-row crossover, on bobby pins, with glass pearls or bicone centres. I would also like to use Swarovski crystal centres, but until I have established sales, I'm not spending that much!!! I'm going broke buying materials Smiley

I like the pearl centers Smiley

What kind of crystals are you using right now? I recently discovered chinese crystals, which look virtually the same as swarovski, as far as I can tell, but are about 1/3 the price. I'm not sure where you could get them, but I'm sure you can find some online. I get mine at my local bead store in these adorable little bottles that I want to reuse for something one day.

Amy, for me, Swarovskis look really similar to other glass faceted beads too! Swarovski just has the brand name that brings people in, I think. I found the glass pearls in a junk shop in a big strand and have no idea where I'm going to get my next lot... it won't be so cheap Smiley Thanks for the tip on Chinese glass. I'll look for them!

Also, since you're talking about cutting costs, parawire.com sells really high quality copper wire in a ton of great colors for a really good price. I highly recommend them.

Those are so cute!!

I HEAR you about cutting craft/hobby costs. It's not as easy as it sounds to just "use what you have" though.
