I am such a terrible swapper. I received from Ghostgirl days ago and haven't posted pictures yet 

Ghostgirl made me such incredibly awesome stuff. I will get pictures up soon. In the meantime know my book was The Wizard of Oz so you can use your imagination on all the lovelies that she sent me.

  (the little white guy is my favourite)  A few pieces broke off in the mail but I'm going to crazyglue them back on and it'll be fine. 

The Marble Magnets
 
The reason I liked this book is because of all the little details in the illustraions.  I lovelovelove that she capitalized on that and turned them into magnets.  She captured the very essence of the book in this craft.  Also - I love the little duck one.  My last name has the word "duck" in it so I'm partial to anything ducky!

I love everything!  It's all in my kitchen so I can see it daily.  Thank you again Peachsorbet!!

The stuff in this gallery is FANTASTIC! I especially love the Petit Prince bag and the spectacular Hats for Sale book. Gorgeous!

I received from psyche a few days ago but I've been so caught up with playoff fever I haven't had time to post. I'm actually writing this during the commercials of game 5 right now. It's 3-2 Edmonton!

Anyway, I sent psyche I Had A Bad Dream by Mercer Mayer. It's a book from the Little Monster series, I think... That might not be the right name, but you'll certainly recognize the little character.

Here's the splendid stuff she crafted for me:

Hurrah! A big tie-dye T-shirt with a magic potion painted on it (the narrator dreams that he drank a magic potion that turned him into a brat and alienated his family and friends), a kitschy coin holder for my laundry money, and a lovely jewelry box painted for the line, "We played outside all night". (We being the narrator and his gorilla. What a great book.)

Theres been a tiny bump in this swap for my partner & I- so I wanted to go ahead and post the images of what I made so you could all see. Everything that everyone has done so far looks beautiful. Hope you enjoy my items- My partners fave Childrens book was the classic story "The Gingerbread Man"

thats ok!  i have been still waiting on a sewing machine to complete your last project and send off the other item(s) that i forgot!  eeek!  i inherited a 1968 singer sewing machine but no foot pedal.  it HAS to have a foot pedal right?  i have to tell the boyfriend's oma to keep looking for it.  yikes.

Here is a picture of the awesome stuff that Ghostgirl sent me!  She made me some custom stationary, notecards, custom bookplates, a WOZ packet of poppie seeds, a poppy planter and some awesome lights with WOZ pictures on slides so they illuminate!
