I'm in a rush to make jewellery's for a play about Aladdin.
Ive finished the necklace for Aladdin's wife, the princess, here's the result, hope you like it Smiley

The blue bead in the middle and the coins are from Egypt.

It's more pretty in real life Smiley

ooh, that's pretty. I bet it makes nice sounds when worn. What is that blue bead made of?

great job!  Shocked it is really pretty! did you drill the hole on the coins?
and I love the way you 'posted' your works on the cork board...
I just might do that too!

Thanks a lot Smiley
No I didn't drill the holes my self (Thank god, that would be some of a job), but I was separating the coins and rings from each other. Originally they are from a Arabic coin-belt used for bellydance.
Thanks for the praise for my way to put up pictures, I was thinking it was the funniest way to view pictures Smiley

I think it looks great.  The blue scarab beetle bead is really cute and a nice addition.

That is really pretty  Grin I was gonna ask where you got the coins from. But I see it was from a belt. I've been thinking recently about going to garage sales and thrift stores to look for old jewellery to cut apart

Thanks Smiley I have much bigger one I tried first, but it was not very good looking. This little one, and the small blue glass beads in the middle of all the coins makes it look much better...

Thanks to you also Smiley Yes as I said, it's from a bellydance belt, you can allmost see a little part of the rest there is left from it on the first picture. I was buying it on an Egyptian market with sellers who travel from Egypt to Europe to sell their things. Normally those coins are VERY expensive in Denmark. About 3 DKK each! For a belt with over 80 coins I got it to 180 DKK, so I saved a lot of money there Smiley
Yay I love garage sales and thrift stores <3 Or maybe buying cheap jewellery when you travel  Cheesy
