Dear X Tanni,

Your shoes are brilliant!!  Would you be willing to share the technique?  Did you use fabric markers?  I can't wait to read the rest of your posts to see more of your work!

Love, love, LOVE the shoes! You could sell them in any trendy boutique in any major city. Just go into the city nearest to you and bring some samples with you and go door to door.  Most of these places LOVE this type of one of a kind stuff that will set them apart from other stores.  I guarantee you will walk out with orders.  In NYC, we have musicians, club kids and all kinds of people looking for unique, wearable art pieces.  These would be perfect. Good luck and I really hope you pursue this.

I'm glad you guys like them!

I spent about 3 hours on the second pair and I spent about 1 hour on the first ones. I painted all of them using acrylic paint and I used toothpicks for the lettering. I first outlined the cans on the shoes to set a base and did it all from there. I got the shoes from Target for super cheap since they were on sale and I sealed them with Scotchgard

what does that mean?

Scotchguard is something that you can buy in aerosol cans to spray on fabric (most people use scotchguard on carpets and sofas) and what it does is it sorta seals the fabric making subsequent dirt easier to clean off.

You have no idea. I want both of these pairs of shoes. Please give them to me now, or give me instructions on how an idiot such as myself can make them. Please. I'm begging you.

I WANT YOUR SHOES.

AND, IF NECESSARY, I WANT YOUR FEET, TOO.

Hahahahahahah, just kidding.

No, but seriously.
