Back in January I ironed and sorted all my scraps in the hopes that I would actually use them all.  I never realized how many I had!!  I haven't even come close to making a dent in them, but I have made some nice scrap quilts in the process.

This pattern came from Quick and Easy Scrap Quilts - a great resource for scrap quilts.  I highly recommend.

Great job. I love the colors. I have tons of scraps too, but I never seem to have enough of the same "types" of colors. Yours is simply beautiful!

I LOVE that colorful one!  the other one is lovely too - I just tend to get excited when I see bright colors.

Wow!  That's beautiful.  It looks very vintage and new all at the same time.  Kind of like you combined old fabrics from the 19th century and new late 20th and 21st century fabrics.  I like the way you mixed white and off-white.  Very nice!  I really like the pattern too!  What's the name of the pattern (ie log cabin, drunkard's path, nine-patch, etc)?

**Just saw the book you recommended on Amazon.com.  I think I'm in love!  Can we say Christmas WishList?

This is the third in my series of baby scrap quilts - just finished!  It uses a  lot of the same fabrics as the other rainbow quilt.

This is a pattern I altered from the book Save The Scraps: Great Quilts From Small Bits, by Gayle Bong.  My husband gave it to me for Christmas and he is so proud that he picked out such a great book all by himself!  This book does not have as many patterns as the one I mentioned above, but the ones it does have are all great and it's the book that got me to organize all those scraps in the first place.  There's a very helpful section in the front about different ways to organize all your scraps and use them up!!
