I have a shelf that is very useful but ugo. Is there any way to disguise wood veneer? I'd like to paint it but it seems like it wouldn't stick.... my roommate thought decoupage might work. anyone here have any experience with this type of thing? I'm so happy to have discovered crafster. very inspiring! Smiley

Yes my husband is a cabinetmaker and he said you have to rough the surface up with sand paper, and then the paint will stick.
