Beclectic, that's a lovely shrine! Such a great way to remember your cat.

That's so sweet! I love the cat in the toilet on the left side.

Make sure you share more when you make them. You have great style.

This is awesome...its the very first shrine I made back around 1998, I think. It was a joke gift for my best friend, who was madly in love with Ricky Martin. Its fully portable, with a lid that closes and a handle for easy carrying. I think I've progressed rather nicely since then.  Grin

I just got the picture recently. I hadn't seen it since I shipped it to her way back when. I just cracked up...that's a heck of a lot of glitter.

Here's 2 of the shrines that I've made whilst being forced into a non-craftster existence!

For my sisters birthday...

She's 31

and loves dragonfly

Thankee to Racky for lots of the papers. Some of the other bits and bobs were from other people in swaps, so thank you!

And the other...

A poor picture of the back. My parents got me an old sewing machine just before I moved so I've been experimenting with sewing lots of things together!

Thanks! Sevilla is beautiful and we're really enjoying the change in lifestyle. Adjusting to the sunny weather has been a bit of a shock to the system, but I think we're used to it now just about!

I should add the the 2 shrines above are only about 4 inches high so they're quite teeny, and the bases were made from cardboard.
