Hey! So I finished my Shrine to the Ridiculous. I made a new topic for it so I wouldn't slow down this thread with my pics. So please take a look and let me know what you think:

amaryllisroze, I like the base for your new big shrine, and I love the two pocket shrines, especially the pink first communion one.  It's so pretty and will have so much meaning for Amy and her daughter.

Pink Mafia, your little pocket shrine is wonderful!  Did you give it to your husband yet?  I'm sure he will love it.

rackycoo, those altoid tins are really cute!

chibiwakki, thanks for the awesome link.

craftyzari, I love the little green jewelry box you used, and the green crackle finish.  It's perfect!

rocknroll, your shrine to the ridiculous is great, especially that it lights up!  It has that gaudy Las Vegas feel.  Cheesy

Shrine on, crafters.  They're looking good!

Does anyone else feel like they've hit a creative brick wall? I don't know if its the hot weather here or some other nonsense happening to me, but I haven't been able to really get going on this.  Undecided

Maybe a new source for shrines will kick-start creative mayhem!

I'm with ya, sistah!
My shrine base is just sitting there looking at me.
ACK!

I love a new place to shop, those shrine bases are all about $1 at Michael's and no shipping costs, that is if you are lucky enough to have one nearby.

I actually found a base I like!  And I know what I want to do with it...I just haven't felt like touching it since I got it over a week ago  Undecided

Don't know what it is that's causing this craft-apathy, but I wish it'd go away.  I'd much prefer actually doing something.

I'm a little late to the party (as usual!) but I've been looking at this little guy on my bookcase and thinking he needs to be part of a shrine, what do you think?

I made him from bits I found in Edinburgh on holiday a while ago, so I'm thinking a quirky house type thing with window images and bits of paper...

Here are the pics of him, let me know if you clever people have any bright ideas!

I don't know about the rest of the country, but I've witnessed several long-time couples breaking up (quietly), very little creativity going on.  Kind of a limbo.  Kind of a lack of passion limbo.
Hmmm.
I wonder what would shake it up?

Stress levels are kinda high for a lot of people that I know. Times are changing as they always are, some people are a lot more sensitive to it than others.
