The Great Craftster Scavenger Hunt Swap (Finished!)

Ha ha!  No raffia bows or measuring tape from me.  But I did put a couple things on the list because I thought I could run back to Goodwill and get a kickin' supply for this swap--and it was gone!  But then I went to another thrift store and got a bag of wool roving for $.90.  I don't know how to needle felt, but that seems like good encouragement.  I opened the bag, and I found a skinny pink measuring tape inside!  It was like Christmas!

Oh, and did I mention that it was wrapped in a clear piece of plastic with twisted ends, like a hard candy?  Even cuter.

Yeah, it was kind of funny.  I was sorting through bags of randomly-thrown-together yarn.  I thought, "Is that what I think it is?"  And it was.  I even found somebody's needle felting attempts inside (stars with smiley faces).  I don't know how to use it--but, thanks to Craftster (), I couldn't pass it up.  Now I'm sure it will sit there in my craft crap pile and taunt me until I do something with it or pass it on...

Somebody!  Sign up and put wool roving on your list!  I'm sure I'd come up with something to use it for! 

All this loose wool reminds me of my ballet days.  Just a lot more colorful.

Sorry, I know it is totally cheesy but I can't let it go. My apartment is full of wool. I ended up picking some corridale out of my food earlier...Must have been stuck to me while I was making dinner.

Kaesea and I talked about some things, and we have a few further clarifications. I posted these in the first post, and am going to repeat them here.

A single item may count for more than one item on the scavenger hunt list. If on the list there is 1. something yellow and 2. something hot and 3. a heavenly body and you craft tshirt, that has a yellow sun on it, you've covered all three of those within one object. Make sense?

In order to be eligible for the prize, you must a. post a list of which items from the list you used and b. back that up with photos. If you can't take photos yourself, make sure that your partner can, because that's the only proof we have that you used the items from the list!
