i subscribe to bust and that pattern is on my long queue of things to make.

how long did it take?  did you use the suggested yarn?  i was hoping it would be a good acrylic stashbuster.

it took a few hours (maybe 5 all together?  I don't know, I worked on it off and on for a day), and it is a great stashbuster -- i made them out of old acrylic yarn left over from when I was first learning to crochet!
