Hmmm, I bet you could make a great shrine for your beaded butterfly doll from popsicle sticks too.

Hmm, now that's an intersting idea. I haven't started my doll yet, but I'm working on it in my head. Hoping to get it started today.

You got the popsicle sticks lined up and all neat -i'm sure if I made one there'd be wood sticking out here there and everywhere...

LOL...I'm sure if you made one, your sticks would be lined up perfectly. Although, mine aren't...heh.

It's not lined, although I'd thought about it. Maybe the next one.

I think it'll hold quite a bit of goodies. As for a tutorial, the pattern is found in the book The Craftster Guide to Nifty, Thrifty, & Kitschy Crafts. Maybe your local library has a copy if you don't want to purchase it.
