I agree with everyone else, those glasses are awesome...and so is all the other stuff...the elvis tote and felted bag come to mind...and if I posted on everything...there would be pages and pages of me responding...everyo ne's packages have been awesome!  I received my package today and I LOVE it...she made placemats and painted boxes(unless she made those too) for me and my daughter...and bought books for my son--as soon as she saw the books my daughter wanted them...LOL  we asked gavin if she could look at them, and he said yes...pictures to follow soon

i would like everyone to see the wonderful, whimsical things my secret FOCcer sent me for my second package.

i got an awesome little purse that's designed with nifty pockets on the outside as well as in. . .and it was her first time with interfacing.  i'm super impressed.  also included was a swap journal (totally needed one of those) with a cover made of stretchy corduroy (my favorite) and a cute pocket that holds a WINNIE THE POOH PENCIL.


i have included this shot which illustrates my love of The Pooh and of my journal and pencil.


my bag rocks, too.  it's going with me tonight wherever i go!

Oooh!  I got home from a crappy day at work and was immediately cheered up with my secret package from my FOC'er!!! 


I got the cutest little knitted/felted purse!!  I love it!!!  It's the perfect size and it strangly matched my outfit as I was wearing a red shirt today! She also included a super cute scarf...


..which martini will model for you, b/c he's a sexy beast!


inside the purse were tons of paper stars!!!  I put most of them in the vase on our coffee table..


the rest mesmorized the cats (well the 2 that were awake  )

hey I bet you all thought that I had forgotten about pictures...it's been a rough 24hrs at my house...alex was very constipated, then gavin was loose...let's just say I have had my share of poopy booties this weekend!!(ah...the joys of motherhood)  for the record, alex is feeling much better and I think gavin's was due to him teething...sorry if that is tmi...just look at the goodies!


a picture of all the stuff together along with a candle I got in the suzy homemaker swap...and the candleholder I bought at a thrift store...I think it's supposed to be an oil warmer...funny how you don't see some things until you take a picture of it...and those are the earrings next to it.  alex is using her box for a "memory holder"--we made pressed pennies at disney, and so they are in there...we have to get more memories to put in it...


a picture of the books she got for gavin...I LOVE these kind of books...and she will have to tell me where she got them...I have seriously wanted some of these kind of books for alex too...

I received my fabulopus packages (store bought and surprize) from my FOC!!!!!





She got me Stitch and Bitch Crochet!!!!!!!! AAAANNNDDD  A knit cactus and felted slippers!!!!
I love it all!!!!  I made the easy scarf with the shell stitch edge this weekend at the beach (Took my book and wool with me...bet I was the only one crocheting a wool scarf at the beach in july!!!!)

ho-ly shneikies, my foc is awesome!  I came home to find a great package of stash goodness and an apron (which i needed) and some lovely kanzashi flowers!

Here's hubs being (kind of) a good sport and letting me get a picture of him in my new spiffy apron while the sun poked out for a minute and my head was covered in dye...




I wish I could properly express my giddyness at everything here - yarn's something I never really buy for myself as it's pretty much already given away as I buy it for projects, so I really appreciate it!  I've been wanting to dye my own yarn for ages and I'd recently lost an auction for some recycled silk, but no worries, my secret (and perhaps psychic?) foc saved the day!   The Sublime Stitching patterns are the "om sweet om" and "china town" along with some flour sack towels for my embroidering pleasure and kanzashi flowers with cute button centers that I adore!
