So I have this awesome friend, Neliamne.  And she knits like nobody's business.  And I have a birthday, and she makes me a present... knit socks!  This is especially awesome for me because I'm really tall and wear a size 12 shoe, so I have a hard time finding fun footwear in my size.

They're a blend of fibers that includes cashmere.  It's like wearing little clouds on my feet!  They're so soft and cozy.  THANK YOU, Neliamne!!

I'm so glad you like them (and that they fit- I was a little nervous!)
If anyone is wondering, it is the ankle sock pattern from the new book One Skein.  I used Debbie Bliss Cashmerino Aran, 2 skeins.
They turned out so nice, I'll probably make a pair for myself!

At my church, the nursery room I work in is usually warmer, and then it's cold in the sanctuary.  So tomorrow, I'll wear sandles, but then during the service, I'll slip into my cashmere socks.   Grin  (Yeah, we're kinda informal at my church!)
