Yay for finally getting rid of some of these game pieces I've been saving for so long!

I'm planning on making a necklace out of these, like a drop necklace?

Ignore my painting toothpicks.  Tongue And yes, I smudged the second one. Shoulda painted the sides first. I got some paint on my finger and touched the top. Sad

And a close up of the first one, which is also my favorite:

I'm going to cover them with clear nail polish or something to make them shiny. But I'm liking them so far. I wanted them to look kinda old.

Watcha think?

Tres cute! I would leave them without the shiny coat... I like the way they look vintage. But would the paint chip?

Ooh, they're gorgeous. A drop necklace would be perfect for them. You should do the shiny coat, I don't think it would affect the vintage-y feel.

I just handpaint scrabble tiles so far! Cheesy

Yeah... I can totally see the paint chipping. I tested one of my "mess ups" by scratching at it lightly with a toothpick. Eh, not so good. Must make shiny. Tongue

Thanks for the compliments! I'll post the finished necklace later.

I love them. Do post pics when you're done with the necklace. I'd love to see the finished  product. Smiley

skip the nail polish, buy krylon spray sealer in matte finish, it wont make them shiny, it will keep them looking the same way, but protected, its about 3 or 4 bucks at walmart of hobbylobby
