I went to a church rummage sale and found the most awesome thing ever!  4 pattern making kits for 3$!  It came with a curved plastic designing stylus for tracing the hip and crotch curves. The 4 kits are for dress making, kids clothes, mens shirts and one for pants. I'm so excited to try and design my own patterns exactly my size! I think I'm going to faint....lol

It's called sure-fit designs. The different types are all in different colored boxes. yellow for pant, pink for dresses, green for childrens clothes and blue for mens shirts.

aha!  this is multi-size patterns that you trace--more or less like what you get in most pattern envelopes.  the "design stylus" is a pattern curve.

mmd32 If you want the bonfit sets, have a look on ebay.  I purchased all three sets at different times for less than $50.00 total, including shipping.

Unfortunately, I got pregnant before I had the chance to try them, and now I have gained so much weight, that I can not fit into the bodice set that I have.  I am losing though, so hopefully before much longer, I'll be able to use them.

Good luck,
Carmen

Really? Wow, that sounds good!!

I am taking a patterndrafting course now, to make my own slopers and patterns; do you think Bonfit would still be of any use for me?? I can't remember exactly how they work, and won't bother if they are redundant now!
