Cute. Does it say anything on the back? Also... I feel like a little silly asking, but am I the only one who doesn't recognize this character? Please tell me about it!

if you can sew, you could make him.  a few colors of felt, buttons, and a few minutes sketching a pattern.  think about it.

as far as i know, domo-kun is the mascot for the japanese sattelite (?) network nhk.  he's named that because he comes out and bows and goes "domo" (thank you), and the "kun" part is a suffix implying familiarity.
nicely done, by the way.  i'm still kind of afraid of stenciling, but the more great projects i see here, the more enthusiastic i'm getting about it.

i don't have much experience using stencils--can i ask why you used a sponge instead of a brush to apply the paint? and is the paint specifically for fabric, or something you had around?

first of all, i got really confused w/ you name... ive always been LAYzbones... b/c my last name is lay.. anyway... i got it now... i use fabric paint i got from michaels... but you just paint it on and then let it dry and iron it... and then its all good... i like it b/c it doesnt really add to the fabric... it just soaks in and is soft like the rest of the cloth... i used a sponge b/c its what i found lying around the house... and it gets an ample amount of paint into the shirt... then i used a small brush to touch up the lines that held the inside of the stencil.. good luck!
