The kitty was ALL hand sewn  crazy lady..! it goes around the neck and the tail hangs down one of the sleeves, and the kitty is reaching for the ball of red yarn, that goes right around the back of the hoodie too

I haven't heard if VeryCrafty has received her hoodie, but I decide to post my pics of it.  I did a little post stalking and learned that her nick name is angel and she likes Japanese stuff, so I painted with acrylic and fabric medium and sharpie marker wings on the back of the hoodie then a bunch of loose feathers.  In between the wings I wrote in Japanese "Angel."  It was just a pull over hoodie so I sewed in a zipper.  It was my first and turned out "okay" there was left over hoodie at the bottom, but it was EVEN!  Anyways, I hope she enjoyed it.

I was originally going to sew on thread, but after sewing on the cat onto the hoodie my fingers were like - for the love of fingers NO MORE! - So i went to the store and bought red puff paint which I think worked out just as great!

I loves the cat hoodie!!! so THATS what it is...!!! I wanted to ask lol and... how can I wash it once it needs washing...?? (its getting close lol) Hand wash..?? wash in a pillow case...?? Hmmm

I think handwashing is safest, or atleast turn it inside out in a pillowcase I think. maybe someone else has a sugestion?

alright. i really need to get this swap done with. Send out was over a month ago and i really need the statuses of people and their hoodies. i'm going to give it a week from today, and anyone not communicating will receive a negative feedback. sorry to be so hard but organizing this swap has been an incredible challenge due to the fact i'm not sure what is going on with people's packages. all information that i know is on the first page of the orignal thread:

hat putty tat hoodie is so awesome...
you did a brilliant job.

if you gentle wash the hoddie inside out in cold water you should be fine, if in doubt pop it into a pillow case too.

I used puff paint on quilts and the get washed on normal wash and have survived.

Whee! Thanks for posting pictures! I am so glad that you like the sweatshirt and that it fits. I was more than a little concerned that it was going to be a spectacular failure- but it appears not to be !

Yay! I have now received a most lovely hoodie from my angel (retroeva! )

It's the right size, it's black, and it's got lovely stencilled... (or I'm pretty sure it's a stencil) crossed pistols across the back! Just my style!

(And if retroeva has a pic, she'll post.... otherwise we'll get one from me in a bit!)

Thanks! I will say that finding that stencil, and then cutting it out was a PAIN! But I made a shirt for a friend, and my DH wants a shirt with that stencil. Since its popular, I may make some shirts with it to sell on my etsy!
