Whoa Lin, that is AMAZING.

I love how you've installed the button on the body instead of the flap - a very nice touch. And I also like how you've top-stitched all the way around the flap and body instead of just the flap (which is a dead giveaway that it was the last seam you had to close!).

I may be inclined to nick your design.... Wink

Fantastic job!!!

Made these with linen and then used a permanent marker to doodle on them..

Thanks for the tute sweetpea74.
What I like about it is the vertical seams are all "inside". So simple and easy.

LiN - yours looked so neat.

Thanks sweetpea74!  Smiley  Haha! And I thought I nicked your idea...Thanks for the tut!

One lesson I've learnt is not to use an interfacing that is too thick.  I had a bit of a problem turning it inside out, thus the creases...

Thanks!

Thanks!  The linen looks lovely with the blue and white checks!  Wink

The time has come
The walrus said
To talk of many things-
Of shoes and ships and sealing wax-
Of cabbages and kings.
And why the sea is boiling hot
And whether pigs have wings.

Thanks for the tute.
Now I know what to do with all those small pieces of fabric I've been saving.
