Just wanted to let you all know that I received a great package from redheadedali today!  I will post tomorrow what was in it b/c I spent all day at Six Flags and have two huge blisters on the ball of each foot thus I can't walk without severe pain  Cry- and my list is, of course, in the other room!  But I wanted to say I got the package and I love it.  Contents to come tomorrow when I can walk to get the list! Ok, here's the list of my swap package (with some comments by yours truly):
1. Magnets with the following pictures: Sam Houston (my favorite Texan), and the signing of the TX Declaration of Indepence (my favorite historical moment), and a very cute armadillo (which is actually my favorite TX mammal!)
2. Iron-ons with Cyd Charisse in the Broadway Ballet sequence from Singin' in the Rain. (here's a link to the photo: http://www.jennworks.com/Cyd&Gene.html  Underneath, Alison added the phrase "gotta dance..." which is great.  (I actually just made a new bag for my swing dance shoes and clothes, so these will be great for both sides of that to decorate...thanks!)
3. CD compilation of tunes by Texas artists!  (Thanks...I love it!)
4. Necklace - has a picture of the movie Giant which is about the Texas oilmen & oil boom. (Here's a link to the picture on the necklace:http://www.things-and-other-stuff.com/images/a-prices%20realized/Auction04/0400%20233%20giant.jpg
5. Stickers for scrapbooking in a cowboy & horses theme (perfect for my college book b/c our mascot was the Cowboy!)
6. Sharpies in Texas colors...red, blue, and black...(perfect for a schoolteacher!  thanks!)
7. Magazines...a Texas Traveler (which I nearly bought the other day after seeing it in another persons swap post), and a magazine from Texas Monthly called How to Be a Texas Volume 3 - 2006 with profiles on some of my favorite Texans!)
8. Bubble Tape (I LOVE bubble tape & haven't had it in years!)
Thanks so much!  I love everything...and I mean EVERYTHING...in this package!   Thanks so much!
I'll try to post a photo later today!

I received an awesome package. Sorry to be so late updating. My favorite thing is a very cool Aggie colored necklace! Thanks!
