Hi all - and merry xmas!

I'm a Valley Girl (Van Nuys) and would love to get together with other crafty types! Main interests are knitting and beading - but really, really want to learn to crochet. Anyone fancy a skill swap? I'll show you mine if you show me yours....;-)

Happy to drive pretty much anywhere in L.A. I'm envious of the organisational skills of the San Diego crew, so would love to meet up with Angelinos sometime soon.

Ok Dolls, for those of you in OC or those who want to drive to Laguna Beach, I'm starting a Pub Knitting group, see this post:

I would totally love to join any kind of crafting group in OC.  I live in Yorba Linda and can pretty much drive where ever.  I do lots of different kinds of craft, but I'd love to meet other crafty ppl.  I am just learning how to sew, and I would love to learn to knit and/or crochet.  Anyone up for a meeting sometime or are there any crafty groups around?

Have there been any meetups yet?  It looks like there was a lot of back and forth about starting up a group, and I would love to nail down a date to actually meet!  I could definitely host at my place (in Capistrano Beach...it's basically San Clemente), if you guys would be interested.  I just want to get together with a craft group! sounds great!  I could totally drive there.  I am free on weekends (usually) except for going out of town in the beginning of august.

Bongirl5, I would totally love to help you organize a group and a meet up.  This could be so much fun!

The group I met up with in Pennsylvania was just so awesome, I hoped there'd be something like that out here.  It looks like there's lots of people willing, but it just hasn't happened yet.  So let's kick some butts and organize! Cheesy

Maybe we could do monthly, and pick a new craft each month?  For example, decoupage one time, maybe marble magnets another, learn to knit, learn to crochet, embroider, that sort of thing?
