I use PhotoshopCS3 for my banners.. and banners I've made for other people.  And as far as clearness, etsy really wreaks havoc on greens and reds, so use sparingly Cheesy or put an outline around your text so it doesn't blur Wink

And I make banners for free *shh!* if you'd like one made sometime, just email me (robinlynne@gmail.com) or PM me here Smiley

Honestly, I think that your second banner turned out great! I am not familiar with Print Shop and I only have a few skills that my boyfriend taught me on Photoshop.

My boyfriend made my banner for me. I wouldn't pay to buy the program. You just need to see if you can find a tutorial online somewhere for making banners through the program you already have.

But really. I think the second banner you made turned out really pretty and would look great at the top of your store page.

Hi there, I am going to be opening my own Etsy store soon, selling crafts with a 40's and 50's vibe, Rockabilly, that sort of thing. I made this banner and avatar for my store and wanted some feedback as to see if it it clear what sort of items I'm selling and what my theme is. Pictures here come up smaller than in Etsy for some reason but
any advice/opinion much welcomed.

I think the banner and avatar are perfect for what you're trying to get across. I love the name you chose as well.

Here is mine, please feel free to give me feedback.

The name refers to my two Chihuahuas, I call them the "Devil Dogs", so it seemed to be a good shop name.

Here they are in the shop avatar.

Here in portland Oregon we have a very popular urban/punk/goth store called demon dog lol and they have a very ugly pit bull for their mascot (not saying that they're all ugly just this one is). SO I like the idea and the colors of the banner
