Anywheres from six months to one year I will be moving out of my mom's house. I'm a packrat and need to get rid of stuff. Normally I would trade for things I want/need but I don't have the money for shipping and handling. So I figured I would go the route of destashing on etsy. Things I would be destashing would be mostly comic books, books to alter, assorted buttons, scrap book and altered art papers. I also have a ton of soft cover hand bound books sitting around from when I tried to get into craft fairs. They've been collecting dust and probably smell like dust too so I am willing to take a loss on them and sell them for cheaper than I normally would.

Is it worth it to list my things? I understand I have to advertise to sell things and I suppose there is more information on that in these boards. I can be diligent about shipping my items but it's only one item a month it's more time than worth.

Have you guys had success selling destash items? Prices for items would range from $1-$5 probably. I'm a bit desperate for money and wont turn away from a little bit of extra cash.

I am having very good success on destashing right now... Well... really only destashing! Cheesy
I've been collecting craft books/supplies from thrift stores and yard sales like made since I found Craftster, and there are some things I need to let go of. and I've sold quite a bit for more than I paid for thrift store/yard sale items, and less for items I bought full price, but need to get out of my house!
