Not really quoting myself, just didn't want to double-post.

Came back from a weekend trip to find a divine duo of pincushions from kiki_eks waiting for me. They're absolutely terrific! I'll post pictures ASAP. Thank you kiki_eks, I love the little basket one! I think it's funny that we both sent pincushions that doubled as containers.

wow sorry it took me this long to get back online. I've missed craftster. Well you said you needed it more for your knitting sewing needles and thought that you can fill it with stitch markers and small knitting items. I also tried to use a loose weave material for the cushion for your needles. I hope it works for you. I've also been dying to use those ladybugs on something. Those were from one of my impulse buys at the book store.
I am still behind on the owl close up. I got a new laptop and I haven't uploaded all of my software yet. I will soon. Thanks again ~K

Those are so great! At the rate my "Note to self: make more interesting pin cushions" plans are going, I'm going to end up with more pin cushions than pins!!!

seek revenge oh that is funny. You know that was the first thing I have ever stuffed. I don't know what made me think of that. I think I am tired. what else can I make with that material. LOL I'm sending it everywhere...

Mine is full of pins and since it has a felted bowl, I use it to hold all the little doo-dads I need to put away later!!  The felt is so squeezeable that I also use it to uncramp my fingers!!

the first one I made was out of roving. I made a big ball of layers and layers of different colors then felted it and cut it in half (so you can see the colors like a jaw breaker in half) and it came out soooooo small it made me laugh. I forget how much wool shrinks. when I find it I will post a picture for laughs.

I just got my pincushions from sugarkane today. They are amazing! The most beautiful fabrics, and a funky tin, too. I love them!!
