Woot - I finally have pictures to post. Here is the one I sent fishrubbergreen - I had found a picture of a mermaid that Bad Bird had posted and wanted to use it for something, than fishrubbergreen said she like old school tattoos, so it seemed a good fit.

Than here are the cuties she sent me.

I collect elephants and am really into crazy quilts right now, so these were perfect for me. There is also a elephant charm that she sent attached to the upper right hand corner of the elephant pincushion. Thank you fishrubbergreen.

OMG--you two were meant to be swap partners!!

Those are incredible pincushions!!  I downloaded the same image from badbird but had no idea what I was going to do with it!!  You did an awesome job--the mermaid is beautifully done!!

The elephant is so cute and the patchwork is dear to this old quilter's heart!!

Unbelievable....so many ideas and talent!!

charliebrown, that mermaid is great!  I really like the beads on her tail.  Is that another bead for her belly button or is it a French knot?

fishrubbergreen, your pinccushions are so sweet!  The applique of the elephant is especially well done.  Are the toenails done with beads?  (Who wouldn't want beaded toenails!  Wink)

alwaysinmyroom and fidget - thank you for the comments, what a great supportive place this is. The bellybutton on the mermaid is a clear bead and the toes of the elephant are beaded as well. And I agree - what else could you want in an elephant but beaded toenails!!

Wow, those are all fantastic! The mermaid is gorgeous, and the elephant is too sweet. I have a soft spot for felt elephants, and that one just made me go "Awwww..."

I got my critter today.  He's a cute little goggle eyed monster (has a look like he's saying please don't stick me with pins on his little face)  I'll try to remember to take him with me to my folks so I can get a picture of him

Thank you sweettart3
