Such sweet pincushions, cyndiq!  I especially like the cupcake.  How did you do the "icing" part?  It looks delicious.

I love the embrodiered pincushion cyndiq!  Makes me want to get an embrodiery sewing machine as well!! 

And the cupcake is just so cute!!  But the best part is that you really made these for your partner--I can just see her squealing over them and playing with them!! ha ha

(Don't you guys wish you were a fly on the wall when your partners receive? hee hee)

fidget... the icing is a textured yarn that has like sprinkles of all different colours in it, its like a velour sort of yarn. i got it in spotlight in cairns. I used to use plain yarn than I saw it and it was so like icing. its hard to crochet, but you cant see the mistakes and it looks and sort of gives you the real feel of icing.
my boys want to eat these.  I showed the staff in spot light and they loved it too.
i just made another couple, one for a friend and one for my mum. i have to make one for me!!
so my little helpful boys get excited and want the cupcake to eat!!

She made the most amazing Amish puzzle ball! It is way too nice for my cheap-ass pins!
I am so in love with it! The fabric has Celtic designs! And she sent me bonus tomato fabric & an adorable Amish girls postcard.

That is so kewl!!  I think it is also so funny that she sent you tomato fabric since that is the "traditional" pincushion!!

I don't suppose you could tell us where you found that pattern?  I googled "Amish puzzle ball" and got links to antique pincushions, but no pattern.  I must make this pincushion.
