 Shocked *thud*
That's me fainting over the fabulous Amish Puzzle Ball pincushion made from Celtic fabric.  I am in total awe over that pincushion.  A_Clockwork_Orange, that is breathtaking.  I'm running out of superlatives for that beautiful creation.  Wow!

I am so glad you are happy with the pincushion IqJones!  I am able to breathe now! LOL.

Thank you everyone for the wonderful compliments on the puzzle ball! You're making me blush! Embarrassed  I didn't use a pattern, per se, I made my own.   It really was easy, just very time consuming, especially since I ended up having to sew it by hand.  I am not very good at sewing tiny things on the machine. Here is another pic of it.

The pirate island, the cupcake, the wrist flower and now the puzzle ball!!! Who knew there were so many creative ways to make a pincushion. All of the pincushions are great. I am so glad I picked this as my first swap!

Fabulous puzzle ball, A_Patchwork_Orange!

I don't suppose you could tell us where you found that pattern?  I googled "Amish puzzle ball" and got links to antique pincushions, but no pattern.  I must make this pincushion.  Smiley

There is a pattern for this in the book Omiyage by Kumiko Sudo.

That puzzle ball is lovely. I especially like how you carefully cut the pieces and designed it to best show the celtic print.
