i have officially checked out for summer - a gajillion finals tomorrow and all i can do is sew! ah well.  i made this dress today after gazing at the baggy blue t-shirt and scrap of striped fabric for MONTHS.  the vintage (and i mean it; it was my grandma's) belt hides some sloppy sewing in the back, but i'm pretty proud of my gathers in the front!

here's the full view (sorry about the link/dirty mirror)

here's the back

and here's a close up of the striped bust

wearing this tomorrow - the least i can do is explain to my teachers what caused me to fail my finals!

YOu *should* be proud - that dress is adorable!!!

"It looks like some kind of cat."
"What, you mean like a puma?"
"Yeah man, there ya go."

thanks! ok so my algebra is the DUMBEST person in the world - he made the test exactly the same as the pre-test and walked out of the room for about a half an hour.  everyone whipped out their corrected pre-tests and will all, undoubtedly, ace the final.  yessssss!
