I replied a few weeks ago and I think my fabric pile has doubled since then. I went to get 6 metres of fabric today for a specific project and ended up coming home with 19- but it was only 45$! fabricland has had a buge sale.
I'm packing to move now, and my stats on crafts supplies are-
1 garbage bag of yarn
1 garbage bag, 1 large tote, 1 large (almost garbage bag sized) bag, i small bag fabric
i large box general craft supplies (beads, velcro, ribbon, thread, etc)
1/2 shopping bag lace
1 messanger bag scrapbook/stationery supplies
1 large box art supplies

And I still have my garbage bag of shoes, two tables, chairs, dresser, couch, approx. 5-6 garbage bags of clothing, computer, sewing machine, books, flute and music, various other boxes of necessities, video games and consoles, tv...
AND I'VE ALREADY MOVED A BUNCH OF STUFF
help, I have too much stuff! I'm leaving half of it at my parents house still!

but I love my roommates- they're giving me a decent sized storage closet to be my craft room! In exchange I will teach them to use my sewing machine and assist them with various projects. But yay, a small room to myself, and out of sunlight too, so I won't have to worry about fading and stuff.
I just hope all my supplies fit in the room...

Just take the storage racks or shelves right up to the ceiling and get a stool or ladder if you aren't tall enough to reach - you can get an amazing amount in that way.

help me.. I promised myself that I wouldn't buy anymore fabric.. but then I went on CraftConn.. and.. and I just splurged and got a ton of fabric, but it was on discount!!

And yesterday I went to JoAnns.. and I bought a ton of felt and fluffy material so I could try making teddy bears.

Now I have no idea where i'm going to put all of it..

Oh, tuffie I sympathize with you on moving all the craft stuff. Really, I do. I've moved 6 times in the last few years. It's only the threat of having to move it myself that motivates me to buy less.
This makes me think of the last time my father helped me move (2 moves ago). It was down to the last day, and he'd had one of his employees come help him carry stuff. We'd cleared out the whole house, and then they got to my workroom. The helper said "Ooooh, she's a CRAFTY girl!" and Dad said, "Nah, she's just got a lot of junk!". Needless, to say, he hasn't got any crafty gifts from me lately. Grrr.

Good news people - the stashbusting swap I suggested has now gone official - find it under:  ORGANIZED SWAPS  |  Craft Swaps  |  Ongoing and Unconditional Swaps (Moderators: PinkMafia, taloola, rackycoo, jMi, Bobolink, Stifflersmom)  |  Topic: Ongoing Craft Package aka Stashbuster Swap - Personal Swap Helper

A great way to swap some of your excess with someone else's excess!

I can't join in on this swap, I'm too new here, but I can personal swap.  If anyone wants to see anything just send me a pm and I'll keep my eyes out for a new swap that I can join soon as my month is up!

This is my latest stash addition:

I got the whole lot for 7. I should really avoid going to that shop for a while now.

They don't ship at all, it's a junk shop in the UK. They don't even know what they've got in stock, all the fabric just gets dumped in boxes on the top floor.
