I was thinking how cool it would be to find some other spinners in MN! I would love to get a spinning group going or just make some local connections. So are you living in Minnesota?

sigh... I wish I were in Minnesota, because it would be fantastic to have spinning buddies!  The ladies around my county (here in Pennsylvania) were a little "freaked out" by my first couple of skeins.  They said that spinning impractical or novelty yarn is silly. Tongue

And the wheel I got from you is fantastic!  I have been spinning non-stop!  The Babe Fiberstarter is a perfect beginners wheel for folks like me!

I'm trying to learn to spin with a drop spindle (studio apartment).  I have some wool roving, and a ready source of angora from bf's parent's bunny.  Not too proficient yet though, and easily distracted.  I assume you're familiar with Northern Lights Handspinners Guild?  http://www.woolworks.org/guilds/mn.html
