Sweettart3 received from me last week, but hasn't had time to post pics. Unfortunately I didn't take any before sending, so hopefully she'll be able to put them up soon. I was actually quite proud of the matching apron and potholder I made her. I also sent a recipe box with cards, a scrapbook, a Momism calendar, and some candy.

lucid 501, unfortunately, I just got your package back in the mail yesterday-- and rather squished, at that.  Cry   I don't know what happened -- I am pretty ticked off!  Everything is ok though, so I am going to rebox it and send it again.  I am so sorry!!!  I am sending it out tomorrow morning, and I'll send it priority too you.  I feel horrible!

On no! That's so strange, I wonder why it came back? Don't feel like you have to spend extra to send it priority though, I can be patient  Grin

I don't know!  This is the first time I got something back, but have had other packages arrive to their destination squished!  It's very disappointing -- I was so excited for you to post and say you had received lucid501!  I totally do want to send it priority though-- I really want you to get it soon.  I feel awful that it has taken this long as it is!

I'm sorry you had the same experience nullgal!   Embarrassed  The PO must have it out for us!

All right, pictures of what I made.  Douglasa said that she is moving into a new place and that she plans to do her kitchen up with Fiestaware, so I picked out a vintage fabric in Fiesta-esque colors to make a little kitchen set for her.

The whole lot included quilted potholders; an apron; a little container for holding spoons and such on the counter; and star, heart, and lobster cookie cutters.

The spoon container is covered in baby blue felt with little cutouts from the fabric.  The centers of the flowers are filled in with coordinating wire swirls, and I included a couple bags of those glass marble things to put in the container for holding spoons and the like upright.

And here's the apron unfolded...

Pardon my messy hair and bare feet, plus the blur of the photograph, since I could only take it without flash!
