Yeah, it's absolutely simple... so simple, in fact, that I almost felt bad about sending them.  lol

I just took a small bowl, scraped the label off the CD, set it on the bowl on the toaster oven baking sheet, and heated it at 400 degrees until the CD melted around the bowl.  Then I took it out and really quickly put another bowl on top to shape it. The bowls are just a tiny pyrex-type set that I got at Dollar Tree (mise en place bowls).  You have maybe 10 seconds to shape them before they harden.  And the CD's get really hot, and stay hot for a bit...you need to use oven mitts to get them off the bowls.

My husband came out into the kitchen while I was doing this, and said "It's more fun with fire."  So he showed me how to use a blowtorch, and we made some like that, over a steak sauce bottle.  We didn't quite master it though - everything had at least one small hole in it where the plastic dripped...we use the holes to stick matches in to light the candles, because the ones we mad with the blowtorch are taller.  Grin

But, yeah... Try it, it's fun.  lol

ETA:  Ok, here's the tute I used - it was on my other computer.  lol

I received from the lovely lucid501!  She sent me a vintage apron that she embroidered my name on (yay! Cheesy), an embroidered tea towel, a vintage recipe box with customized recipe cards (again, have my name on them-- yay! Cheesy), a vintage cookbook, a magnetic recipe holder, a mushroom pillow (so cute) and last but not least, (and my personal favorite) a sushi toilet paper cozy!!!

Closeup of the tea towel and cute little teapot guy!

The totally sweet mushroom pillow and sushi tp cozy:

Thank you so much Mandy!  I love it all!  I hope that you enjoy your package too!  (on its way! Cheesy)

Yay! I'm so glad you like everything! I was having some swap anxiety, especially about the tp cozy since it didn't turn out quite how I expected. I can't wait to get my package from you!  Grin

The linen spray was really easy to make, but it's really lovely.  Here's the recipe.

5mL of fragraence oil
1/8c of high proof vodka
2 1/2 c. of distilled water

Mix the oil and the vodka.  At this point, the mix might get a little cloudy.  Don't worry about that, it won't harm fabrics or anything.  Then, add the oil mix to the water and stir.  Put it in a spray bottle and shake it a little before you use it.  Good stuff!
